Adele Forced To Cancel 2 Dates

Singer Adele has been forced to cancel the first two shows of her UK tour because of a severe cold and chest infection.
The 23-year-old had been due to perform at Plymouth Pavilions on Sunday evening and at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Monday.
BIC operations manager Alfredo Abad said the concert would be rescheduled and original tickets would be valid.
The Grammy-winner's hits include Chasing Pavements and Someone Like You.

Her number one album 21 is up for the 2011 Mercury Music Prize, with the winner due to be announced on Today.

A message on Adele's official website read: "It is with regret that due to a severe cold and chest infection, Adele has had to postpone the first two shows of her UK tour in Plymouth on Sunday September 4th and Bournemouth on Monday September 5th 2011.

"The shows will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and all original tickets will remain valid. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you all at the rescheduled shows."
